Resolutions

As January comes to a close I am thinking about the goals I've set for this year. I don't do resolutions anymore since the one I set for 2008 didn't pan out (flossing). Still haven't mastered that one yet and my dentist keeps sending me cheery reminders to make an appointment. So I'll stick to goal setting and to-do lists and leave the resolutions out of it.
One of the things I want to do in 2009 is to make a list of all of the books I read and each year challenge myself to Read More Books.
Read any good books lately? I'm up for suggestions.

Fun Read:
Everybody always forgets about Charles Dickens, but who doesn't love a tumultuous classic novel on their morning commute? I picked up a beat-up copy of "David Copperfield" while I was beach bumming this summer, and I couldn't put it down.

Sexy Read:
Our buddy Geoff (geoffhutchinson.com) gave me a copy of Leonard Cohen's poems for my birthday last year. Best gift ever!

Ridiculous Read:
Camille Paiglia's "Sexual Personae". Out of all people, it was my DAD who thrust this upon me. Take everything she says with a grain of salt and you'll love her eccentricity and wit.

Hannah

The art of flossing requires good floss. I use Glide, which makes the duty elegantly smooth and never painful or bloody.

Did you read the books I lent you?

Thanks for the teeth tips Roni! Yes I read the Murakami books when i was on my residency, will return them soon- sorry! Hard Boiled Wonderland was much better than Sputnik Sweetheart though.
